Playful, well-run coworking five minutes from Temple Meads with the most flexible tier ladder in the city — from a £25-a-month toe in the water to unlimited weekdays, with bookable themed meeting rooms when a client's coming. You can drop in and hot-desk without reserving a seat.
Honest, tiered coworking on Gloucester Road — pay for the hours you'll actually use, from a £68 part-time tier up to a permanent desk of your own. Round-the-clock access for members, a roof garden, a free car park, and north of the centre where the coffee is cheaper.
Bristol's sustainability-first hub, in a converted chapel just off Whiteladies Road — coworking attached to a genuine green-business network, an events programme and a low-carbon ethos that runs deeper than the paint. Three pounds fifty an hour is the gentlest way into a coworking space anywhere in the city.
A Stokes Croft institution, now run by Forward Space, who took over the old Framework brand. Studios, shared studios, dedicated desks and coworking wrapped around a kitchen, lounge, gardens and event spaces — with deep roots in Bristol's creative scene and The Canteen on the ground floor.

Purpose-built workspace at the top of Park Street with a members' lounge, two roof terraces, an on-site gym and ten meeting rooms. The part-time tier is properly thought through — ten days a month for £115 suits the founder who's half at home, half in town.
The council-run sustainability centre in the great B Bond tobacco warehouse by the Cumberland Basin — affordable, all-inclusive desks surrounded by environmental charities, campaigners and green businesses, with an ecohome, a café and a ferry stop at the door. Unfashionably good value.
The old electricity generator building at Finzels Reach, a Grade II listed survivor turned into some of the smartest flexible workspace in the centre, with harbour views and a members-only café called Two Hands. Everything runs on rolling monthly licences with no upfront cost.
A Georgian townhouse on Brunswick Square with proper character — big sash windows, showers, bike storage and a strong creative programme, ten minutes' walk from Temple Meads. The 30-day contracts mean you're never trapped, and the fixed-desk tier is called Resident.
The city's front door for tech innovation, in Brunel's original terminus building inside Temple Meads station — a members' lounge, eighteen offices, five meeting rooms and a decade of Bristol's startup story. It is also in its last months: the building closes in December 2026 and the team moves on to run the Bristol Innovations Zone at the Temple Quarter Enterprise Campus.
The bootstrapper's pick. An unfussy, light, open-plan floor in the middle of Stokes Croft where six pounds buys you a desk for the day and nobody upsells you a community experience. Monthly desks are £160, and there are real offices upstairs when a team outgrows the floor.
A working desk inside one of the country's most respected contemporary art spaces, in a huge converted tea-packing factory on the harbourside. The coworking floor sits alongside more than seventy independent artists' studios — the creative density per square metre is unmatched in Bristol, and the access provision is the best on this list.
Bristol's longest-running independent coworking space — going since 2010, above Stokes Croft, full of art, plants and people who actually know each other. No corporate shine, no upsell, just a light room, a shady terrace and your own set of keys.
The startup-flavoured option by Bristol Bridge, seven minutes' walk from Temple Meads. Pricier than the indie spaces, but you're buying a building full of funded startups, a river-view lounge, a rooftop terrace and the kind of corridor conversations that turn into intros.
Twenty forty-foot shipping containers re-imagined as design-led private studios out at Brabazon, by the old Concorde hangars — run by Forward Space, the Hamilton House family. Each box is 28 square metres, rated for office, retail or maker use, with a barbers and a coffee shop along the parade.
Where Bristol's science founders go. Three incubators now — St Philips, Old Market and the new OMX — with real wet labs, offices and a community built by founders for founders, plus its own deep-tech venture fund. If your startup needs a fume hood, this is the only entry on this list that has one.
A proper neighbourhood centre that doubles as the cheapest meeting and working venue north-east of the centre — rooms by the hour, a small office you can take for thirty pounds a day, a café, a garden, and the kind of community noticeboard where things actually happen. It has been serving this neighbourhood for over fifty years.
The out-of-town option — a purpose-built science and tech campus at Emersons Green with serviced offices sized for three to ten people, grow-on labs, a 140-seat Forum and parking the city centre can only dream of. If your customers and team live along the ring road, the maths beats a central desk.
Polished serviced offices on Colston Avenue for the company that's stopped being a startup and started having clients in reception. Flexible terms, concierge, showers and secure cycle storage — you're paying city-centre serviced rates and getting exactly what they promise.
George Ferguson's great south-Bristol rescue — a working theatre, café-bar, bakery, Sunday market and performing arts school, with offices for creative businesses in the same building. It hums seven days a week, and BS3's coffee, lunch and after-work options are all in the postcode.
Bristol's barrier-free home for charities and social enterprises — an accessible single-storey Fishponds campus built on the idea that good work deserves a good building, with a Changing Places toilet, hearing loops, free parking outside the Clean Air Zone and a café run by PROPS.
